I have not posted specific details about the address here on this public webpage so as to avoid interested people from bothering the current renters.  I will happily provide loads of information when you call.  The estate is located between the cities of Kenosha and Racine, Wisconsin, USA with frontage on U.S. Hwy 32 and Lake Michigan.  The zip code is 53140. A Google map will give you a good idea of the terrain.  The estate consists of two adjoining properties, each with a single family house.   The houses are single story, ranch style, without basement, gas/forced air heat, city water and sewer.   Each house comes with a two car garage. The total acreage is about 7/10ths acre.  Estate is situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood.  This area is transitioning to a more upscale setting, with older houses being replaced by larger, new houses.  The price is set at $1.5M for both properties.   I intend to sell these together to preserve road and lake access.   The view of Lake Michigan from this property is hard to match.  The lake is ever-changing, from floating ice chunks in the winter to a scenic and inviting natural masterpiece in the summer.  The Lake Michigan shore is also a busy bird migration route guiding little warblers and ducks alike.   An expansive view of about 165 degrees looks to the north toward Racine and south with a shoreline that includes Carthage College, Kenosha WI, Zion IL, and Chicago. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Michigan Looking south on a clear day one can, with the help of binoculars, see the Sears Tower and several of the taller buildings of Chicago.  The commute to Chicago and Milwaukee is via highway I-94 and passenger rail service, available in Kenosha.  An expanded and improved rail service is planned for this corridor.  Many residents of this area now commute to Chicago.I have many pictures including a shot of the Sears Tower, now known as Willis Tower.   I can send a CD with photos upon request.  Update information: Wisconsin has embarked on a high-speed rail plan that will run close to these properties, and Chicago is a serious contender to host the upcoming summer Olympics.

Check out this short video of the shoreline.

This video is the latest attempt. See what you think. And this one. Finally, this one too!

I will add an improved and longer video of the lake view soon. I am still learning the blogging ropes.

Lake front house

Please excuse the messiness of the property in this picture. We just did a complete reroof including tearoff.  Painting and gutter replacement were not complete when this picture was taken recently.  We also dug out several bush stumps and roots which hadn’t been removed and are visible in the picture.

This picture of the front house has the other house in the background. The image is distorted as it is a composite of two photos.

From this vantage point you can get an idea of the great view of Lake Michigan that this property comes with.
